Prof Jako Volschenk 

Associate Professor: Strategy and Sustainability at Stellenbosch Business School 

Prof Jako Volschenk is an Associate Professor of Strategy & Sustainability at the Stellenbosch Business School with over two decades of experience in research, teaching, and academic management. 

His publication record includes articles in top-tier academic journals and broadly focuses on how business can create a better world, specifically from a multistakeholder value creation perspective. He has also written best-selling case studies, and policy advisory documents for the South African government. 

Most of his consulting work focuses on strategy, but using sustainability as virtuous instigator. By helping organisations and industries to position themselves within the grand challenges posed by the Sustainable Development Goals, he helps them to find and exploit new opportunities.
