Prof Prieur du Plessis reflects on a significant 2024

Dear Stellenbosch Business School Alumni

As the year draws to a close, it gives me great pleasure to reflect on the incredible milestones the Business School has reached. Fifty years ago, in 1974, visionary discussions began on establishing an Alumni Association that would unite, inspire, and strengthen the Stellenbosch Business School community. Today, those early efforts have grown into a powerful network that spans industries, countries, and generations, where alumni are bound by shared values and a commitment to lifelong learning and responsible leadership.

This year has been especially significant as we celebrated 60 remarkable years of the Stellenbosch Business School. The commemorations culminated in the unforgettable Alumni Reunion Ball, where many of you joined us and also supported the Future Fund designed to empower future generations of students.

As we move forward, we carry this spirit of connection and purpose into the new year. To all our alumni around the world, my heartfelt festive greetings. May you find rest, joy and inspiration in this season.
