NetprosAfrica: 2nd In-person Workshop • Advancing Practice-Based Management Research in Africa
Join leading African and global scholars for the 2nd In-person NetprosAfrica Workshop, hosted by the Business History Lab at Africa Business School, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (ABS-UM6P).
Building on the success of the inaugural meeting in Cape Town in 2024, NetprosAfrica continues to advance practice-based management research rooted in African contexts and empirical realities.
NetprosAfrica fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and methodological innovation to shape a distinctly African contribution to global management scholarship. The organisation continues to build momentum through regular webinars and global scholarly engagement, with a focus on:
- Developing African research capacity in qualitative and practice-based methods
- Fostering theoretical novelty rooted in African empirical settings
- Reviewing and reframing knowledge through a practice-based lens
- Enhancing knowledge sharing and collaboration among scholars worldwide
- Bridging research and practice for real-world impact in Africa

- Innovating effective approaches towards African management research
This in-person workshop will bring together members of the five NetprosAfrica working groups (Strategy-as-Practice, Organisations and Work, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, and Innovation) to reflect, collaborate, and chart the next phase of scholarly engagement.
