The Value of Accreditation
Accreditation ensures that business school graduates learn from the best and are ready to perform in the workplace on day one.

Accreditation ensures that business school graduates learn from the best and are ready to perform in the workplace on day one. Research has also found that accredited business schools have better faculty, curriculum, students, and alumni than other non-accredited schools.

The University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) was the first business school of African origin to have all three international accreditations: AACSBEQUIS and AMBA.

The Value of Accreditation

There are currently 86 business schools world-wide that are triple crown accredited and this represents about 1% of all business schools globally. It’s really only the best that can claim triple crown accreditation.

The Value of Accreditation

In this video blog, USB’s head of Accreditation and Assurance of Learning, Dr Heidi le Sueur, discusses what accreditation entails, why USB chose to obtain accreditation, and how you, as a potential student, employer or stakeholder of USB, can benefit.

The decision to embark on a postgraduate programme shows a major commitment, in terms of effort, time and money. USB’s accreditation gives students an independent and world-benchmarked view of its programmes and will certainly have an undeniable impact on their career journey.
