As a member, Stellenbosch Business School helps to improve management education, economic inclusion and social development in Africa.

In November 2012, Stellenbosch Business School became the first business school of African origin to achieve international AACSB accreditation for its programmes. AACSB accreditation represents the highest achievement for an educational institution that awards business degrees. Less than five percent of the world's business programmes are AACSB accredited.

As a member of this Brussels-based organisation, Stellenbosch Business School has committed itself to using its expertise and resources towards improving sustainability between business and society.

Stellenbosch Business School was the first South African business school to achieve the international AMBA accreditation from the UK-based Association of MBAs. AMBA's accreditation criteria focus on every aspect of MBA provision, including the institution, faculty, curriculum, assessments, and innovation.

We are a member of BGA, an international quality assurance body of top business schools who share a commitment for responsible management practices and lifelong learning.

As a member, Stellenbosch Business School has access to the CEEMAN support network, which focuses on quality management education and innovation in evolving environments.

Stellenbosch Business School was the first business school in Africa to receive EQUIS accreditation, awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EQUIS assesses the programmes, students, faculty, internationalisation, research and development, resources, executive education provision, connections with practice, and ethics, responsibility, and sustainability of business schools, and is, therefore, a whole-school assessment.
