ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Nick Jackson
Managing Director: Royal eSwatini Sugar Corporation
Nick Jackson has been the Managing Director at the Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation since early 2009. He has had a long career in sugar, starting as a shift manager at the Tate & Lyle, Thames Refinery in London back in the late eighties. He has moved around the world with Tate & Lyle, first going to Scotland with Tate & Lyle Process Technology, Australia with Bundaberg Sugar and finally on to the United Sugar Company in Saudi Arabia as General Manager, Manufacturing. In 2004 he joined Booker Tate and spent a short time as a consultant before being posted to the Guyana Sugar Corporation in the Caribbean, where he was the CEO from 2005-2009. He has an honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Lancaster as well as a wife, Vanessa and son and daughter aged 19 and 16 respectively.
Ernest Mkhonta
Managing Director: eSwatini Electricity Company
Ernest Mkhonta is an experienced General Manager of Operations with a demonstrated history of working in the utilities industry. He is a strong operations professional skilled in Negotiation, Business Planning, Analytical Skills, Microsoft Word and Smart Grid.

Sifiso Nyembe
Group Public Affairs Manager: Royal eSwatini Sugar Corporation
Sifiso Nyembe is a business leader with an influence in the sectors of hospitality, eco-tourism, beef production, social investment, social facilities management and stakeholder engagement. He is the Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development SMDP alumnus. His reputation management experience spans across various sectors of the economy, such as telecommunications and agriculture in eSwatini and South Africa.
