Dr Armand Bam

Armand Bam received a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. He is the Head of Social Impact and member of the Management Committee at Stellenbosch Business School. Armand is responsible for leading the school's social impact (SI) philosophy and strategy and oversees the execution of SI processes, programmes and projects. He is a Senior Lecturer and Module Head on the MBA Business in Society Module and teaches on the MPHil Future Studies Programme; Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Quality and Integrity in Leadership on the PGDip in Leadership Development. His research focus is on inclusion & belonging with a specific interest in minoritized group experiences. As the lead author, his work on student reflections titled Transformative learning through social engagement: Reflections on responsible leadership development in management education received the Best Paper Award at the International Business Conference in 2019.
