The potential for entrepreneurship to contribute to economic development and greater inclusion, and to promote a more vibrant economy is enormous for South Africa. The results of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) presented here can help to achieve a greater understanding of entrepreneurial challenges, and to develop such strategies.
